A. Decor, Flowers and Draping ” First Point of Contact

Delay unnecessary travel and meet with YD&E electronically to discuss your ideas, style, colour and theme. Send us your pictures” and mood boards to help us understand your design and bring it to life. Once we have established your requirements we will contact you telephonically for specific detail that will include budgets and cost for your mock table.

INITIAL

First Meeting “Once the above is met we set up an official meeting to showcase your “”mock table””. During this meeting we will also go through every step on what ” ” would be required to set up a formal quotation that will then be mailed to you and include all decor, flowers, draping and any additional services.” On the Big Day Our team will start set-up of the function on the day (unless other arrangements have been made with the venue). We will take no responsibility if the Venue is behind schedule. “We will set up any additional items such as gifts/ table numbers, this should be supplied by the bridal party 1 month before their wedding date, ” packaged and marked clearly. Items not delivered in advance will not be placed on the table. There may be an additional cost in setting up these items. Draping and fairy lights will be tested before the function. YD&E will not be responsible if anything happens after final test and will not return to fix as on site manager will sign off the sheet that all equipment is functional. Any moving of flowers from Chapel to Reception area is normally handled by the Venue Staff. A full instruction sheet will be forwarded to the coordinator / Head Waiter. YD&E will take no responsibility for any breakages or missing items and the damages would then be deducted from the Refundable Deposit.

The Day After Your Wedding “The morning after the wedding, all flowers need to be removed from the venue by 08:00am to enable us to collect all our containers. ” YD&E will also take no responsibility for any flowers after the function or the morning after the wedding. The Bridal Couple will be responsible to collect all personal items from the Venue the morning after the wedding. YD&E will not be held responsible for any lost items. Damages and losses will be covered from Refundable Deposit should it exceed the refundable deposit amount the bridal party will be held accountable for the invoice to replace broken goods. Collection Report will be done after every function. If any losses or damages are found a full report will be submitted and emailed to the bridal party / client. “The Full or remaining refundable deposit will be paid back to the client 1 month after the function, any wax damage to linen will also be charged at an ” expense to the bridal party/client. Please Note “Due to the nature of natural products that are being used such as flowers, we cannot guarantee availability, exact colour or quality of any natural material” quoted for. It is however our aim to supply our clients with the best suited substitute according to our expertise. Clients will be notified in advance where it is considered essential. “YD&E has the right to make use of your photos for advertising purposes such as website, face book,” “pictures, print and magazine or any other form that YD&E see fit

B. Wedding Planning

YD&E will consult with the couple to establish their needs and requirements and will source suppliers on their behalf. YD&E will arrange for all suppliers to make contact with the bridal couple and submit quotations. The couple will have to pay a specific suppliers deposit to secure suppliers for the day. Back2 Basics will coordinate with suppliers to ensure service and product delivery. With experience in the wedding industry we highly recommend couples to make use of our recommended suppliers as they have demonstrated extreme professionalism and great quality products. Suppliers will be recommended in respect with the couples specific requirements and budget. YD&E can not be held accountable for any product or service offered by a supplier or any disputes with regards to these products or services will be between the couple and supplier. The Bridal couple/Client need to book a final meeting during business hours 4 weeks prior to their wedding date. Should YD&E travel to any venue for a site inspection a travelling fee would be charged additionally. In the event of a cancellation full deposit will be forfeited along with all deposits paid to suppliers.

C.Wedding Co-coordinating on the Day

YD&E can provide the following services outlined in the co-coordinating quotation provided: Initial consultation with the couple Ongoing consultation and advice as required. “Assist with selecting colour scheme, decor, flowers for the wedding.” Selecting and booking of suppliers for the wedding. ”

D. Payment Terms and Conditions

Should you decide to make use of our services at YD&E we require R3000.00 Deposit from the Total Bill to secure your booking. If you wish to cancel “the function, the full deposit will be forfeited. Full payment will be required 4 weeks prior to your wedding date/ event.”

INITIAL

Mock Tables and Mock Flowers Mock Tables and Mock Flower payments need to commence two weeks before the actual mock meeting date as flower orders need to be done in advance “Should a bride send a late cancellation or cannot attend the meeting the flowers and table set up will continue as planned, but electronic photos of the ” mock will be taken and send through to the bride. No Refunds are done on booked mock tables. Mock Table charges depends on the style and flowers used for the table on the day. Cheese Tables Should a bride decide to make use of our selection of cheese tables and cheese wedding cakes a 50% deposit from the Total Bill of the cheese station is required to place the order. These orders need to be done 6 months in advance to have the cheese prepared and aged for the event. Should the bridal party/ client decide to cancel any of these services the full deposit of 50% will be forfeited.

 

E. Warranty and Liability

YD&E warrants that they will provide products and services with the practical skill to the best of their abilities. This agreement replaces any prior written or oral agreement between bridal party/client. This agreement may be reviewed if the provision is made and is signed by both parties. “Flower and unforeseen natural causes such as draught, flood or shortages increase flower price the bridal couple will be consulted beforehand to discuss” alternative options and increased pricing. “Acceptance of the quotation and services will commence on signing the Terms and conditions that will include point (A,B,C,D & E).”
